This weekend I had the opportunity to shoot an Occidental College women’s lacrosse home game against Pomona-Pitzer.  Not only was it my first time seeing a live lacrosse match, but it was my first time shooting one as well.  As with anything new, there was a bit of a learning curve but I had a fun time.  A huge thank you to Bob Palermini of Oxy Sports Photos for setting this up.

After falling behind 2-6 at half, Occidental Tigers rallied to go ahead 7-6 before the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens pulled away to win 10-7.  A few images from the game follow.
