The US Lacrosse Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) Championships took place last week in Salt Lake City, Utah. 16 Division I college club teams and 12 Division II college club lacrosse teams participated in the four-day tournament.
In the Division I championship game, No. 7 Delaware upset No. 1 Pittsburgh, 13-11, to win its first national championship. Top seed Denver defeated No. 3 Loyola, 9-6, to win its second straight Division II championship.
